Hi, great to meet you. I am Chris Crafford and I am a celebration event photographer. I focus on weddings and elopements. Planning for a wedding is complex and stressful. I am here to help, I will deliver beautiful photographs to capture and help you remember your perfect day. I will guide you along the way, solving problems and helping to simplify decisions and reduce your stress. By hiring me you get an experienced professional photographer and a coach who is passionate about helping you have a wonderful celebration.
I'm based in Georgetown, TX and work in the greater Georgetown and surrounding areas including Austin, Dripping Springs, Wimberly, San Antonio, Temple, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander and Liberty Hill. I'm open to working in other locations in central Texas, or if you have a destination wedding or elopement planned let’s work out the details.
I started photography in high school with sporting events and athletes. I photographed my first wedding in England at the behest of friends, shortly before moving to California. Once there, I built a thriving life event photography business in the Bay Area before moving to Colorado and then Texas. We covered weddings, mitzvahs and quinceañeras and have experience covering Christian, Jewish and Buddhist ceremonies. During a hiatus from life event work I did more personal photography, but I am now coming back to what I am passionate about - capturing the moments of celebration in your life.
I am a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Texas Professional Photographer Association and the Austin Professional Photographers Association.
I am a PPA Certified Professional Photographer.
Who am I when I'm not working? I'm a trained research chemist, but I left that behind a long time ago. I enjoy traveling and have lived or worked on 6 of the 7 continents. Of all the places I have visited I loved Italy the most. I love spicy and tasty food, especially Indian and Middle Eastern food. I have now lived in Texas longer than any other place I have settled. It looks like this is now really my home.
